Over the course of the term Monkey wrote three paragraphs. His topics were astronauts, spiders and stars.

Grammar:
For Grammar this term Monkey focused on learning about nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. I sourced several activities and worksheets from Pinterest to cover these topics.  We also started working on punctuation and will continue with these topics through term two and the remainder of the year, expanding as needed.

Spelling:
daily oral review of weekly lists as sourced from year 3 lists on the internet
(20 words per list)
written test taken every Friday
